McKinnon Acting Studio is an on-camera acting studio, located in Landover, MD that develop actors into exceptional and confident film & television actors. We offer Group Acting Classes, Private One-on-One Coaching, Audition Tape services, and Career Consultation that has led to hundreds of actors working in bigger markets like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta.
Founded by Mark McKinnon (Mayor of Kingstown, Blue Bloods, Survival of the Thickest) in 2012, We aim to help actors improve their on-camera audition technique and understandbusiness strategies to build their acting careers.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER:
Mark McKinnon founded McKinnon Acting Studio in 2012. He is best known for his Recurring Guest Star role (Donnell Costa) on Season 2 and 3 of the Paramount+ original series Mayor of Kingstown, sharing the screen with Jeremy Renner. He is also known for his Guest Star appearance as Davis on Michelle Buteau's Netflix Comedy Series, Survival of the Thickest, playing alongside actress Tasha Smith. He has recurred on 7 seasons of the CBS Primetime series Blue Bloods as Officer Miller. In the summer of 2020, he was leading man (Derik Dubois) in The Waiting Room , a BET movie for television directed by Emmy award-winner, Sheryl Lee Ralph.
Mark graduated from Howard University with a BFA in Theatre Arts w/ Concentration in Acting. He has studied acting in New York with acting coaches Rob McCcaskill and Ted Sluberski. He is Theatrically represented by UIA Talent Agency in New York and Established Artists Management in Los Angeles.
